Published Works
High School Was for Boys (2023)
High School Was for Boys is a poetry collection that explores the many ways internalized misogyny shaped my twenties. The poems trace my experience of unraveling queerness, a toxic friendship, and sexual assault — each a different way that conditioning took hold.
Sarah, Please Come Back (2024)
Sarah, Please Come Back is a collection of first-draft poems, written for a “create something every day for the month of June” challenge hosted by the incredibly talented artist Adam Smith. The challenge featured new works from anonymous artists on the Instagram account @blankof30. My pseudonym was G.S. If you can guess what it stands for, I’ll buy you a cup of coffee.
I bundled the poems into a zine and started a poetry exchange, swapping art and handwritten letters with fellow writers around the world.
These poems were submitted in a first thought, best thought style. That means your eyes might stumble across an unfiltered tangent or two—or three.
